Locker Services
Types of Works
-
Types of work undertaken can vary from job to job and some will require specialist equipment. Whilst all factors are considered to ensure access and repairs (where necessary) are completed without the need for a return visit, sometimes we will not know what hardware/tools will be required until we attend the site.
-
For this reason, it is understood that there may be a need for an additional visit to complete the work. This will be charged at the ‘Return Visit Fee’ and the hourly rate will apply.
Access/Damage Risk
-
Locks are designed to be tough and stop doors from being opened. Because of this occasionally when opening a door using forceful entry some damage to the lock, door or adjoined materials and panels can occur and thus cannot be guaranteed or covered. Any damage and/or repair costs will be the responsibility of the property owner.
-
Sometimes it is easier to gain access via a different route, even if it is not direct. If this is the case we reserve the right to use these bypassing methods to cause less damage/ costs. This is also charged at the gain entry fee.
-
Please remember some locks require a specialist piece of kit designed specifically for each lock and we may not have this immediately available. Some locks are simply just too secure to gain entry without destruction.
Payments
-
Standard rates are as follows.
£65 Call-Out Charge (outside M25) inc. 20 miles. Additional mileage @25p per mile and capped at £100.00.
£55 Call-Out Charge (inside M25).
£40 Return Visit Fee.
£80 Out Of Hours Surcharge (in addition to the above Call-Out Charges).
£80 Hourly Rate 1-3hrs (+50% if OOH).
£65 Hourly Rate 1-5hrs (+50% if OOH).
Daily rate applies for large projects. Enquire for price.
2. Please note that the above rates do not include the costs of any materials or replacement parts required to complete the works. These items will be added to the final bill and prices will be determined upon request.
Payment terms;
-
Residential customer payments should be made strictly in person immediately upon job completion on site by either cash, credit or debit card.
-
Business customer payments accepted in cash, credit/debit card, bank transfer within 14 days of invoice.
-
We do not store or hold any payment details of any customer except for a record on the work sheet/invoice page of what payment method that was used.
Out Of Hours Surcharge
-
Normal working hours are between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (Excluding UK public/bank holidays).
-
If you need an emergency access/adjustment/fixing carried out outside of these normal working hours, a £80 one time per visit "Out Of Hours Surcharge" is payable in addition to the standard listed fees. For example: in normal working hours a ‘call out fee’ to force entry is £85 but out of hours it would be £165 (£85 standard price plus £80 surcharge).
-
This does not include the costs associated with any materials, return visits, replacement parts required to complete the work, or time on site.
Mechanical Guarantee

We offer a 12 month mechanical guarantee on the standard works carried out to fitted office furniture and locks including mechanical and digital style locks and systems.
-
